Google now offers translated pages in Hindi and other national/regional languages across the world. This might be an irritating experience for Google Chrome users around the world. Google has done this without any notification and is causing users problems. In India Hindi is the national language but internet has been an English medium for all. I too didn't like the Hindi version of Google search and I searched how to change Google language.

This is how you can change language to English on Google. 

Step 1 - Search Anything on Google and Click on the Screw Image (Settings).

Step 2 - Click on Search Settings on the Google Setting . This will appear after you click the screw settings image and will drop down.

Step 3 - Click on the Language Tab in Search Settings Page.

Step 4 - Select the default language you want to select in Google search settings. For Eg for English you can select English and check the box below for English only.

 Step 5 - Once you select English in Google search language settings make sure you also save the settings. Click the blue SAVE button below to complete the process.

Step 6 - A pop up stating "your preference have been saved" will appear on the page and Google will divert you to the Google home page with the changed language of your choice.

This is how you can permanently change language in Google Chrome to English. Looks like Google doesn't mind giving a bad customer experience. Google language is a big irritating thing for many users. Sometimes it becomes very difficult to search when the results are in Hindi or any other language other than English.

Soon I think the Google Doodles will also be in Hindi and other regional languages as the internet penetration in India increases. We already have huge population in Indian states which is even more than nations.

When you open Google Chrome you find the language is now Arabic, Hindi, etc. This will certainly sour the customer experience in searching from Google. The translate option in Google is very bad. It asks you if you want to translate the language. However it must not happen in the first place. Search results should be in English only.
