Beastie Boys' Adam Yauch Dead

Adam Yauch famous rapper of Beastie Boys  has died at the age of 47. He fought a three year fight with cancer. Also known as MCA, he was under treatment for cancer since 2009. He was diagnosed of cancer  in 2009 when discovered with tumor in the salivary glands.

He was born on Aug 5 1964 Brooklyn US. He practiced Buddhism and was an active member of Free Tibet movement. In 2009, Yauch was diagnosed and treated for a cancerous parotid gland and a lymph node and underwent surgery and radiation therapy delaying the release of Hot Sauce Committee Part Two and the subsequent tour. He was unable to appear in music videos for the album. Yauch described the cancer as "very treatable".

Yauch not only was involved in writing or performing music. He was the director of many Beastie Boys’ music videos, and was called “Nathanial Hörnblowér”. In 2002, he built Oscilloscope Laboratories, a recording studio and film production company for encouraging new movies by newbie’s.


Fans all over the world are mourning the loss of such a great artist.
